Nothing is known about Zeke prior to the apocalypse other than that he had a father named Sam Custer, and a cousin named Wrecking Ball .

Together with his father Sam Custer and a few survivors, they are trying to get to Edmonton. As Zeke gets too sick to drive, he sits together with the other sick. Eventually he dies, turning zombie and trying to bite the other survivors. He is later given mercy by Addison Carver.
