Sleepy Hollow High School is the only high school in the town of Sleepy Hollow, New York. Washington Irving wrote the classic short story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in 1820.
Post Apocalypse[]
Sleepy Hollow High School was the site of the Operation Bite-mark rendezvous. According to Mark Hammond, the school had emergency food supplies hidden inside and a squad of soldiers were to meet them there. His last contact with them was a month before.
When the heroes arrived, the squad had been completely wiped out. Local survivors, hearing that there was food there, attacked, along with zombies. Cassandra explains to the group that Lt. Hammond’s contact, a group of soldiers showed up a week ago at the time and set up the school as a base, they used the school’s bomb shelter stashes for food and water. She also says that too many people arrived at the small safe zone and a soldier opened fire on some people and that brought a horde of zombies that killed everyone and overran the school. While on the roof 10k watches the group with his sniper. He shoots one of the zombies attacking Doc and saves him while a group of zombies approaches the school. Somehow several zombies slip past the group outside and attack Garnett, he swiftly takes the zombies down entering the school. But the baby they were caring after somehow gets infected and dies, reanimating into a zombie baby. Hammond enters the lobby and searches the building. While coaxing the baby to come out from under a car in the lobby, he is flanked and attacked by a female zombie, catching him off-guard. The baby zombie then helps the female zombie eat Hammond. After they give them mercy, Addy finds Hammond’s Radio and they are able to contact Citizen Z, he finds out Hammond is dead and tells the group to take Murphy to California. The radio then cuts out and Garnett decides that they will depart for California. They leave the school not before offering 10k a ride for saving them.
The heroes added two new team members here: they found Cassandra trapped by zombies in a cage here and 10K shot several attacking zombies, saving Doc and others.
