Post Apocalypse[]
It is the last known operational laboratory dedicated to finding a cure for the ZN1 virus.
Citizen Z directed Operation Bite-mark, and later the Westward-bound survivor group, to proceed with Murphy to this location.
During "Fracking Zombies", Dr. Hastings contacted Citizen Z because zombies were attacking the station.
However, recent contact with the station suggests it is either partially or completely overrun.
