Mother is a character in "Z Nation", first encountered in Season 1 Episode 3 "Philly Feast".

Pre-apocalypse

Nothing is known about Mother's life before or after the outbreak started, nor what her given name was.

Post-Apocalypse

Season 1

"Philly Feast"

Mother is part of the Philadelphia Cannibal Survivor Group. She became catatonic during the events of Black Summer and has not spoken, or acted independently, since.

Led by her husband Tobias, the group started out like many others, surviving through resourcefulness and cunning, while retaining some semblance of their humanity and morality. However, during Black Summer, Tobias suffered a mental breakdown and led his "family" down the dark path of victimization and cannibalism.

In the events of "Philly Feast", the "family" encountered the Westward-bound survivor group after Travis spotted Cassandra with them in "Fracking Zombies".

Eventually, the Philly group was able to kidnap Addy and propose a trade to get Cassandra back. This trade prompted the Westward group to return with a plan to free Cassandra, the result of which was the utter destruction of the Philly cannibal group.

The last scene that shows Mother in the camp, she is sitting alone at the dining table as her husband is screaming as the zombies and his victims attack him.

Her fate after this, along with other Philly members Moonshade, Bernt and Stormy, is unknown.
