General McCandles' Tower refera to an office building outside of McLean, Virginia.
The building was previously home to the Department of Infection Control aka Emergency Headquarters Infection Control.
Building Features Edit
The building has at least five stories, most of which were under construction renovation. There is still power in parts of the building. The security system is still operational, as is at least one of the elevators.
Post Apocalypse Edit
The building was surrounded by death, dead soldiers and zombie soldiers alike.
The building is occupied by a horde of undead soldiers on several floors, as well as General McCandles, a man slowly driven insane by the apocalypse.
McCandles is holed up on the top floor, where he consults with the corpses of his staff officers around a conference room table or rants on a satellite phone to people who are dead.
The Helicopter Edit
The helicopter on the roof is a complete wreck, with no rotors and extensive damage.
The Westward-bound survivor group came to the building looking for a better mode of transportation since the road they were traveling was rife with bandits and zombies. Citizen Z sent them there because he spotted a helicopter on the roof using a satellite. He also told them that there was some communication coming from the building but whoever it was would not respond to his attempts to contact them.
