Kansas was a large US state located in the center of the the United States. The Westward Survivor Group travel through the state after leaving Missouri.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
The state was sparsely populated mostly occupied by farm lands and natural areas. The town’s of Lawrence, Topeka, and Dodge City had the most population in the state.
Post-Apocalypse[]
The state did surprisingly well against the initial zombie attacks, as much of the population had access to weapons. This led to many survivor communities and trade points to exist for awhile.

Eventually large hordes of Z’s began to appear in the west and they began to hit Kansas itself. Eventually Sketchy McClean and Skeezy made their way to Kansas after fleeing New York. After they reached Kansas they set up the S&S Unlimited around Hamilton, Kansas, it’s a gun show run by Sketchy McClain and Skeezy. It's held on June 6, 3AZ, and located somwhere in Kansas. They had found a large truck filled with weapons and ammo, so they killed the zombified drivers and started the gun show for travelers and people wanting weapons alike.
The S&S Unlimited has a bar, the Fu-Bar, that serves corn-liquor, and opportunities to trade. In order to sign up for the Gun Show, survivors are required to give away seven items, such as bullets or Oxycontin, however it is implied that it is heavily preferred if survivors provide pre-apocalypse illicit substances, such as Methamphetamine. A further donation is required to sign up for the zombie-shooting contest.
In 3AZ the Westward Bound Survivors arrive in Kansas still in shock over the loss of their friend and leader Garnett. Citizen Z gives a heartfelt obituary about him and how he sacrificed himself for others. They eventually are forced to stop after the groups truck breaks down, they temporarily fix it while Addy and Mack ride ahead on the bike.

10k fixes the truck temporarily and they go up the road going right instead of left where Mack and Addy went. Mack and Addy go back to the truck but all they see is a super massive horde headed their way. Eventually the rest of the group arrive at the S&S Unlimited Gun Show where they are greeted by a couple of guards who let them pass. They then head towards the gun show where Shelley Tanner tells them about the show and how they have to pay a fee of 7 bullets. However Sketchy lets them in freely.
They discuss how Addy and Mack are not there Sketchy and Skeezy show off the various weapons they have to offer and say “if you want it we’ve got it”. They also tell them how their are no zombies for miles cause there in the middle of nowhere. He also tells them about the bar they have to offer at the gun show, named The Fu-Bar where you can buy liquor made of corn and listen to live music.
Warren and Murphy leave for the bar and Sketchy tells 10k about the Zombie-shooting contest, with grand prize a Barrett M82 with several hundred rounds of ammunition, second prize being a set of steak knives. Sketchy tells 10k to sign up in the Fu-Bar, and talk to a guy named Wannamaker to get a car and if they want side action talk to Vernon. He also warns him to not bet against Darren Cooper an ex-military ranger with 50 confirmed kills in Afghanistan.
Doc enters the Fu-Bar looking for Wannamaker but finds that he is completely drunk and knocked out so Forman tells him to come back in 48 hours. Doc asks if he knows about cars. Forman tells them about his Forman-mobile which is a biodiesel truck which is extremely quiet and perfect for the apocalypse, however he says it’s not for sale.
Forman leaves the bar, very drunk and takes a leak, Murphy waits for him to pass out and steals his truck keys but the Forman wakes up and attacks Murphy. Forman discovers the zombie bites on Murphy and questions what he is, they continue to fight and then Murphy bites into Forman. He then strikes Forman with rock knocking him out.
The Zombie-Shooting Contest starts and 10k introduces himself to Brittany who says she’ll “kick his ass”. She is assured by her father Robert, and the contest begins. If you miss your out so its sudden death.

Skeezy is the judge of the competition and they begin shooting the targeted zombies. The grand prize a Barrett M82 with several hundred rounds of ammunition, and second prize being a set of steak knives.
The contest begins and an ice cream truck playing music drives slowly across the shooting range as zombies begin to pour in, everyone begins to ready their guns. They then shortly but surely began to shoot the targets selected by Sketchy.
Forman eventually wakes up and stumbles into the bar rallying a few people to find Murphy and take the keys to his Forman-mobile back. They find Murphy trying to break into the vehicle, Keith Richards searches him and they discover the zombie bites. Suddenly Forman puts a gun to Murphy’s head saying he’s going to put him down. However Cassandra pushes the gun away as he fires, killing an innocent guy using the outhouse. Forman continues to fire while he struggles with Doc and accidentally kills Darren Cooper and the bartender Phil barley missing Warren. Forman is killed in a struggle with Murphy after one of Forman’s friends tries to shoot Murphy and accidentally kills Forman shooting him in the heart. The people shot dead by Forman began to reanimate and people begin to shoot them. Zombified Darren Cooper is quickly put down at Zombie-Shooting Contest and people cheer. The contest is down to only five people and after Mulligan, and Snyder are eliminated it’s just Brittany, 10k, and one other person. Doc asks Murphy if he bit Forman and he said he did. Murphy goes back and finds that Forman didn’t turn into a zombie after his death, due to the bite Murphy gave him. The gun show and the bar begin to be overrun with zombies yet the Zombie killing contest continues. They take the zombies out 500 yards and 10k and Brittany make the shot but the other guy doesn’t and he’s eliminated. They prepare for the final round but the contest is interrupted by a group of Z’s that made their way inside the perimeter.
Warren vents to the zombified Phil and pretends like he is Garnett, still angered by her loss of him. She then beats the zombie down and stabs it.
Back at the contest, 10k kills a zombie judge 500 yards away perfectly. Brittany does the same exact thing and a tie is declared, people begin to place bets on who they believe would win. However the Mega-Horde finally arrives at the gun show, they kill 2 runners and many more zombies. The driver of the ice cream truck is eaten and 10k gives him mercy, which makes 10k the winner and he wins the Barrett M82. After that Sketchy and Skeezy close up the gun show as the place is getting overrun, everyone begins to leave and flee.
Brittany and 10k run to look for Brittany’s dad Robert, but they unfortunately run out of ammo. They find him and 10k saves him, he thanks him and tells Bri that they gotta go. 10k says “wait” and gives her the Barrett M82 saying she deserves it more, she says thank you and gives him a kiss on the cheek to say goodbye. Warren leaves the bar and begins to shoot several zombies in a blind rage.

The group goes back to the truck and they wait for 10k, when he doesn’t return they consider leaving him. He arrives later but a zombie pins him to the car and Brittany saves him one last time using the Barrett M82. Doc grabs 10k and pulls him into the car, the group drives away leaving the S&S Unlimited behind them.
Citizen Z sends out another radio broadcast warning people about the Zunami, telling people there is no way past it and that they should take cover from it. Finally, Mack and Addy watch the incoming Zunami, and try to find the group.
