Boone[]
Boone is a male supporting character in the second season of Netflix's independent zombie apocalypse series, Black Summer. He first appears in the episode "Card Game." His background prior to the apocalyptic events is largely unknown, though he exhibits familiarity with the mountainous surroundings in the later part of the season.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Rose and Anna hide in a manor's bathroom during a conflict. Despite their dwindling ammunition, they manage to eliminate one attacker. Boone, who had been hiding elsewhere in the manor, finds them and insists they stay quiet. When a soldier discovers them, they surrender. Following the sound of an overhead plane, the soldiers depart, and Boone tells Rose he knows how to get to the plane, begging her not to shoot him. He leads them out of the manor as the conflict subsides.
Boone then directs Rose and Anna to what he believes is a safe haven. Initially skeptical, Rose warns Boone that if they don't reach this location by sundown, she will kill him. Boone tells them about a ski lodge stocked with food, water, and electricity. Despite her doubts, Rose allows Boone to lead them.
Upon reaching the ski lodge, Boone expresses his excitement. The lodge, equipped with food, water, electricity, and comfortable beds, seems eerily perfect to the group. While Rose and Anna are taken aback by this unexpectedly good situation, Boone is thrilled with the resources, claiming they will last a year. The others, however, remain cautious.
Their time at the lodge becomes problematic when they discover the presence of infected individuals. As they discuss whether to stay or proceed to the airstrip to catch a plane, another group captures Boone. Despite his protests and insistence that he was right, Boone meets a tragic end, succumbing to the infection and turning into the undead.
